What Is Best For Storage: VHS or DVD-/+R?
I have seen several different views of what is preferable VHS or DVD-R/DVD+R; but surely DVD-R/DVD+R is much better than VHS hands down! Not necessarily as, depending which way the subject is looked at, there can be many arguments for and against both sides.

Video Restoration
Aside from the restoration to the picture quality that a good VCR can carry out on a VHS tape, there are the few occasions where further enhancements needs to be carried out; put back a missing scene or improve the picture quality of an already converted tape etc.
